Brian A. Bernardoni

Brian A. Bernardoni photoBrian A. Bernardoni works with the Chicago Association of REALTOR's leadership and volunteers to assess and monitor legislation impacting the entire Chicagoland real estate industry, as well as lobby and provide legislative strategies for its emerging economic development and commercial real estate interests.

Bernardoni is the Immediate-Past National Chairperson of the National Association of REALTORS® Governmental Affairs Directors, an elected position he held for two terms. He serves as a member of the REALTOR® Association Executive Magazine Editorial Advisory Board, serves on the NAR Housing Opportunities Working Group and is a past two term Chairperson for the Association Forum Public Policy committee where he worked to pass major not-for-profit reform measures in the Illinois General Assembly (P.A. 96-0649). A prolific fundraiser, since 2003 he has raised over $1 million for RPAC, the REALTOR® Political Action Committee.

A former print and radio reporter and a prolific public speaker and writer, Bernardoni frequently is sought out to speak to governmental, political, academic and not-for-profit organizations throughout Illinois. His own book on Wrigley Field is anticipated in next year. Bernardoni, along with his colleague Michael Reischl coordinated efforts to place a historic marker at the location of the West Side Grounds, where the Chicago Cubs played (1885 -1915). Bernardoni’s has proudly served as a Wrigley Field tour guide for eleven seasons.
